A few days ago, more specifically on Wednesday, February 20, the Samsung Unpacked 2019 took place where Samsung, the South Korean company leader in technology and especially in mobile telephony (thanks to one of its star series that over the years has dominated the sector), has presented its new range top devices: the Galaxy S10 . On this occasion, the new high-end smartphones were released in four versions, and one of the most interesting is the one we are talking about today.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S10E
Designed for all those who love small mobile devices, those that enter the whole hand and do not bother in any type of pocket, the new model is built in metal and glass and does not reach 15 centimeters in height. The chosen screen is 5.8 inches and uses Dynamic AMOLED technology, an improved version of the famous Super AMOLED. The chosen resolution is Full HD + and its aspect ratio is 19: 9. Unlike its brothers, this device does not have a curved panel, it is completely flat as smartphones were some years ago. What it does have in common is the hole-type notch that is gradually being standardized.
SMALL ON THE OUTSIDE, BIG ON THE INSIDE
As for the processor, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or an Exynos 9820 depending on the region in which you are. Whatever the chipset, there should not be any noticeable performance differences in day-to-day use. The device will be marketed in versions of 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage, all expandable by Micro SD card up to 512 GB.
Concerning the photographic section, we are facing a device that has two sensors on the back: a Dual Pixel of 12 megapixels and variable focal aperture f / 1.5 – f / 2.4 and a wide-angle of 16 megapixels f / 2.2. For selfies, we will have a Dual Pixel of 10 MP f / 1.9.
One of the most important sections is its 3100 mAh battery that has fast charge, wireless charging and reverses charge. Thanks to this latest technology, we can recharge other devices as if we had an external battery.
The operating system chosen is Android 9 Pie and the starting price is $ 749 for its cheaper version, a price somewhat higher than one of its most direct rivals curiously unveiled on the same day, the Xiaomi Mi9.
